In brief: Not unusual

Good repairs may still have some leakage and never need anything more than echo followups.
However, some do fail over time and need re- repair or replacement.

In brief: It is probably ok

It is hard to absolutely answer your question without actually seeing the echo and knowing what was actually done in surgery.
Ideally after repair we would like no leak. It is not unusual to have a small leak after. Typically this will remain stable and you won't need anything done in the future. Your cardiologist and surgeon are going to be your best source of information, however.
