The term stuck twin refers to a set of twins which are sharing the same placenta.
The term stuck refers to the twin which is not getting enough blood flow and has very little amniotic fluid around it. The other twin has too much blood flow and too much amniotic fluid. The condition is called twin to twin transfusion syndrome.
