Hbot can be a powerful tool for treatment of indicated conditions but it's use should not be frivolous. There are very real risks with use of hbot.

Gas out side GI tract in the peritonial is related to a procedure will get absorbed , non procedure related is pathological pneumopertonium ( air inside peritonium due to diseases ) need investigation ; intervention , hyperbaric o2 treatment will not help.

What was the cause of the gas trapped outside of gi? It is usually post surgical but i see none in the history so the diagnosis has to be clarified first.
I just think there are good indications of hyperbaric o2 but is overused, even now to treat stroke.
