I am on Zantac (ranitidine) and I was taking omeprazole. Been on the two meds for overly acidic stomach and IM. Taking meds for 4 weeks now. Still not 100%???

5 wks of 7.5mg Omeprazole was giving my 10 wk baby insomnia, started on Zantac (ranitidine) 1 ml x 3 on Tues. Reflux now much worse & baby very upset, do I persevere?

Reflux. The meds usually don't have much of an effect on the quantity of spit up. They help with the irritability of the reflux to prevent acid from causing the pain. It's all weight dependent so without a weight can't say if the Zantac (ranitidine) is the correct dosage or not.
