In brief: Kid polyps

In children, non-surgical care is the preference.
Nasal steroids are the main medication. Also, singulaire can reduce polyps. If polyps are due to allergy, then agressive allergy treatment (avoidance, medication, allergy shots) is needed. Polyps in children are uncommon & can be associoated with cystic fibrosis or developmental masses. Evaluation by ENT is needed.
