In brief: Depends
Approximately 30% of patients in an infertility practice have some degree of endometriosis; the disease can impact egg quality, decrease sperm surivival and thereby hinder implantation, impair embryo development, and decrease receptivity of the uterus to implantation.
It is important to seek care with a fertility specialist early to learn options to help improve your fertility.

While endometriosis is frequently seen at the time of diagnostic laparoscopy for the evaluation of women with infertility, it is unclear that removing endometriosis will improve fertility. Furthermore, endometriosis is often scene in normally fertile women, about 20% of those who are going for tubal sterilization.

In brief: Endo & Infertility
It appears that endo is associated with Progesterone resistance.
Whether or that the endo causes Progesterone resistance or Progesterone resistance causes both infertility and endometriosis is as of yet unknown.

In brief: Depends on severity
Endometriosis can be mild, moderate, or severe.
Women with mild endometriosis often experience normal conception rates. More severe forms can injure the ovaries and eggs and block the fallopian tubes, producing infertility.

In brief: Up to 50%
The number one symptom of endometriosis is infertility, defined as inability to achieve pregnancy after one year of unprotected intercourse at a frequency of 2-3 per week.
Only 15% of infertile women typically present for evaluation and treatment. Endometriosis is not curable, but manageable & with aggressive treatment, can lead to successful pregnancy.
