These include multiple sclerosis, parkinson's disease, stroke, electrolyte abnormalities from kidney disease, and alcohol withdrawal. Other causes include amphetamine abuse, hypoglycemia, thyroid problems, etc. More benign causes may include excess caffeine, lack of sleep, stress, and lack of vitamins.
