Can an orgasm worsen the symptoms when someone has a pheochromocytoma? I understand there is a release in hormones with sexual pleasure.

Maybe... Several hormones are released during orgasm, oxytocin, cortisol, serotonin and adrenaline. Adrenalin is what a pheochromocytoma produces, so you could get an excess release during "release". You need to get the pheo. Under control with Alpha blockers, then beta blockers later. Ultimately you will need to have the pheo. Removed surgically. Go to a center w/great experience in this, it can be tricky.
