In brief: Possible causes
Eyelid skin commonly swells with too much salt, lack of sleep, too much rubbing, etc.
Occasionally other factors, such as irritation, scratch, sinus infection or trauma can be a cause. Have her apply a cool compress and elevate her head, most swelling goes away quickly, but if it persists > 2days i recommend a physician take a look.
