I used anti wrinkle cream Miracle Worker SPF 55 anti aging in the morning and Exuviance Vespera Bionic Serum evening 10 weeks pregnant. Should I worry?
I wouldn't: I would discontinue the miracle worker cream, as it has retinol. It has poor absorption through the skin, but there is a small risk, and pregnancy is sometimes about reducing risks if there isn't a substantial benefit. The Bionic serum also contains a retinoid (vitamin A derivative). Again, poor absorption through skin, but it would reduce risk if you stop during pregnancy. Good luck to you! ...Read more

Ok to use gold bond no mess powder spray on thighs/near privates and under breasts for preventing yeast infections? Nothing else keeps me dry so far.
After cleansing I use dr haushuka toner, then a serum. Can I use roc tetinol cream on top of serum? Still effective? Thanks
To be honest: The retinol based cream is probably the most effective "antiaging" topical skin product that you are using. As there is clear evidence the retinoic acid and the precursors to it like retinol are effective for wrinkles; retinol being less potent but more "tolerable". Realize that the toner/serum may blunt the "effectiveness" of the retinol. ...Read more
I'm 23 weeks pregnant and used bleach water to clean my counters and I didn't wear gloves, will this harm my baby?
Not likely.: Assuming you washed your hands afterward and did not have a extremely concentrated bleach solution, you should have nothing to worry about. Bleach can cause chemical damage to your skin in uncommon circumstance, but it's not likely that you absorbed any through the skin. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Had a CT scan n Dr sed I was backed up, prescription miralax (polyethylene glycol) n now have diarrhea.cud I stil b backed up n quit using it or keep using it,I take pain meds daily.
Opiates (morphine): Taken on a regular basis slows down intestinal transit and you end up with constipation. Miralax (polyethylene glycol) shouldn't be taken for more than 3 days in a row. Since you are on morphine your MD should prescribe you other stool softeners like senna or colace. Good luck. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Gentle Soap: I recommend using a gentle soap (and warm water) such as Unscented Dove or Eucerin. Cleanse twice each day. Rinse with cool water. If you have particularly oily skin use an astringent 1-2 times/day to wipe oil away as well. Also avoid touching your face unless you have washed your hands to avoid clogging pores. ...Read more

No: Urine is not unclean in a normal person, unless she has a bladder or kidney infection. Thus, one shouldn't fall for any salesman pitching urine-cleaning products. Eating a healthy, balanced diet, and drinking adequate fluids each day (plus going to pee when needed, and not holding urine in for too long) are all good ideas. ...Read more
Bad Idea: The real question is what not to do that slows down healing. Avoid using alcohol, peroxide, hibiclens, betadine, vinegar, bleach solutions. Inflammation ( red, hot, swollen, tender) is important to healing so anti-inflammatories (motrin, advil) are bad. Cover wound with a clean dressing changed every other day and protected from trauma. Antibiotics do not help healing unless it is truly infecte. ...Read more
