Five years ago, I was suffering from depression, and took Paroxetine for about half a year, then recovery.
A month ago, it seem to relapse, but is not serious. I have take Lumiday for two weeks, it is useful for me. Now I have a question.
Can I take Lu
Daily? No proof: Lumiday is a dietary supplement marketed in States for natural mood enhancement. However, unlike prescription & OTC medications, there is no requirement to prove safety & effectiveness prior to selling product. So your guess is as good as mine. Better yet, go see your Family Doc or whoever prescribed Paroxetine 5yrs ago. Ask for referral for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which is as good as drugs ...Read more

I have been on anti-depressions for years, celxa, Paxil and prozac, i'm don't feel like it helps anymore..Can you become immune to it after so long!?
Not immune: Immunity doesn't happen, but sometimes people may not respond as well to a single medication over time, or life stresses may cause depression to overtake a medication. The best thing to do is to keep working with your psychiatrist as there are many combinations of medications. Also consider psychotherapy along with medication, as the two together can be more effective. Hope this answer helps. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I suffer from anxiety and depression, Paxil does not have great reviews. Which one has less side effects, also can I stop Paxil after 2 doses of 10mg?
Tell your dr.: About your concerns and asked to be switched to an antidepressant that does not cause weight gain or have a withdrawal syndrome like Paxil for the severe sexual side effects that often accompany paxil. Talk to your doctor before you stop pa xil. There is no withdrawal at this point and would not be unless you were on it for close to a month and probably more. Best wishes. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Gad/depression well managed w/paxil for 2mos. The last week my symptoms have increased- need to take 1-2 ativan/day to cope. Advice/is this normal?
Add CBT: I would suggest finding a skilled cognitive behavioral therapist to assist with psychological portion along with your physician who manages medication. That way, you are working with a medical doctor to manage medications while having a therapist assist with cognitive restructuring, providing behavioral tools (such as worry exposure), and other techniques for coping. Good luck! ...Read more
