Not recommended : There is a potential interaction as both can increase the risk of bleeding problems. If Tylenol (acetaminophen) works as well it might be a better choice for you. If you are otherwise healthy without other risk factors for bleeding and taking relatively lower doses of Zoloft and ibuprofen, the risk of bleeding is not high but I would want you to check with your own doctor before I could recommend it. ...Read more

Timing: Shouldn't make a difference. More important is dose and time between doses of ibuprofen. I am not aware of any specific interaction between ibuprofen and any of the other 3 meds , but there are potential interactions between Lamictal, Zoloft and Wellbutrin (bupropion). Bleeding risk: There is ^ bleeding risk with use zoloft (sertraline) & ibuprofen. Geriatric pt's with kidney or liver disease are at higher risk in particular. Some bleeding sx's: ^ bruising, weakness, dizziness, bloody urine or stools & poor bleeding control. I have patients on both without problems.
