Low probability: There are the possibility of low probability side effects. With respect to specific interactions, the most prominent thing to remember is that if you stop taking your xanax (alprazolam) suddenly while taking wellbutrin and Lexapro you may make it more likely that you would have a seizure. You also may find operating a motor vehicle more challenging when taking xanax (alprazolam) with any medications. ...Read more

Yes but: This seems a bit much for anyone. Is there a way that you can speak to your doctor about streamlining your meds. The doc is treating you for bipolar issues, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorder. I suggest that you see if this doc or another can put you on a regimen that might help you sleep and still take care of the problem. Have the doc consider remeron (mirtazapine) ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Lot of medications: I'm not sure whether these are all prescribed by the same physician? It sounds as though your bipolar disorder (from the additional info you supplied) may be quite hard to manage, and meds have been added but none removed. Perhaps you'd benefit from a second opinion about your case and possibly simplify your regimen. It could also be that your symptoms demand high intensity measures. ...Read moreSee 4 more doctor answers
If by doctor's order: If you're taking these medications on doctor's order then, I cannot tell you NOT to take either one of them or any of them. But if what you're asking is whether or not it's SAFE to take ADDERALL (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) with all the other medications or whether or not it's really NECESSARY for to take ADDERALL (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) given the rest of the drugs you're taking then, that discussion should really be with your prescribing doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Were your meds: Prescribed to be taken this way? Were you prescribed the citalopram and Effexor (venlafaxine) at the same time? Why?: I am not sure why you would need to take two different benzodiazapines at the same time. Both have potential to build tolerance. I would not prescribe both at the same time to a patient, however different providers select different options. Please discuss this fully with your prescribing provider. Take care. ...Read more

Can i take 5htp and GABA with Zoloft (sertraline) and clonazepam? If so what is the safe amount of each? I am on 50mg of zoloft (sertraline).
Not recommended: Both zoloft (sertraline) and 5thp will increase serotonin levels. The doses are often not well standardized in supplements - so you can't always be sure of the amount of active substance you are getting. Best to talk over with your prescribing psychiatrist. He or she can raise dose of zoloft (sertraline) if indicated. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I take Zoloft (sertraline) and clonazepam is it ok to take my atenolol and melatonin at night the Zoloft (sertraline) side interactions said no. Advise thanks?
Also can Zoloft (sertraline) and clonazepam delay your period? I am a 28 cycle and I always get mine on time. This time it's delaying and I know I'm not pregnant
Not that I know of: There are some medications that can interfere with oral contraceptives, but Zoloft (sertraline) and Clonazepam are not among those. You don't say whether you are on any kind of birth control, and your saying you know you are not pregnant I take to mean you haven't had sexual intercourse. If you continue to be late, you need to see your OB/GYN provider for an evaluation, but I don't think it's your medication ...Read more
I have taking Zoloft 50 Mg and clonazepam (0-0-1)for few months now for obsessive thought and anxiety issues.

My psychiatrist prescribed Zoloft (sertraline) 50mg and clonazepam 1mg at day and clonazepam 2mg at bedtime. Is the reason of this is to ease Zoloft (sertraline) side effects?

I'm taking 25 mg of Zoloft with 1mg of clonazepam, I tried 50 mg of Zoloft but I felt too tired all the time, I still experience anxiety so my doctor is considering switching me to Effexor, I have panic disorder, was wondering which medication is best for
It depends: What medication works best depends on a host of factors and that is why there are so many to choose from. I am concerned that the emphasis is only on medications. Professional behavioral therapy can be very effective and it is very safe. Sometimes it even allows one to eliminate medications all together. There are a host of other interventions and modalities that can also help with anxiety. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

I have been under a lot of stress lately. I am on Zoloft (sertraline) and klonopin and nothing works. What can I do?
I take 0.5mg klonopin and 50mg Zoloft (sertraline) daily. If i don't take either today, would it be okay to have a few drinks with friends tonight?
No: Zoloft (sertraline) is a zero tolerance alcohol drug. Merely one or two drinks of alcohol on zoloft (sertraline) is enough to stop it working for up to 72 hours. Mixing alcohol with Klonopin is never a good idea because you could find yourself, depending upon your tolerance, drinking yourself under the table without even intending it. Then there are issues pertaining to drinking and driving. Klonopin is an extremely long acting drug that will remain in your system whether you have stopped taking it or not. It will therefore have an additive effect with the alcohol. I would highly recommend you not do this.Always play it on the safe side. You can also ask for a nonalcoholic beverage. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

To add to a question I asked a few minutes ago, i'm very frustrated in finding the right combination of Zoloft (sertraline) and klonopin that will work. Thank you?
Frustration?: I didn't see your other question, but if you are frustrated with your medications and the way they're working or not working, you need to take it up with your own doctor. There are many possible reasons for medicines not seeming to work -- anything from other existing conditions, need to change dosage, wrong diagnosis, or need to change medication itself. Good luck in talking with your doctor! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Zoloft (sertraline) Klonopin : It would help to know what anxiety disorder you have and how you expect to feel on klonopin.
