Why isnt Zofran (ondansetron) (any Ondansetron medicine) FDA approved to be sold without prescription? Its so genius for anti vomiting. Life saver for emetophobics!
Can emend be effective on its own for vomiting and nausea? I cant tolerate zofran (ondansetron) or zofran (ondansetron) class drugs.
Preventively only: Emend s effective when administered ahead of time to prevent the nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy but isn't effective after the fact. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) & naproxen: OTC meds to try to lessen nausea (in place of zofran) can include things like Dramamine (meclizine, dimenhydrinate), like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or Zyrtec (dyphenhydramine, loratadine, cetirizine), or like Zantac (famotidine, ranitidine).
