Is it ok to take meclizine and phenergan (promethazine) together and can I use Zofran for breakthrough nausea?

Many options, but: You should talk to your pcp and explain your concern(s). There re many antiemetics available. However, to take this type of medication without medical history is under-standard of care. Example: Promethazine is a great antiemetic, but is contraindicated inchildren with liver disease. Is there anything stronger and/or faster than Zofran (ondansetron) odt8mg. Pills for quick use when needed for preventing a cyclic vomiting spell?

See below: A higher dose of zofran can cause several side effects. You can, however, alternate zofran with a few other anti-emetics so different types of meds are used, thereby reducing the toxicity but hopefully improving your nausea symptoms. Ask your doctor if it is medically indicated & safe for you. Examples include compazine, reglan, & phenergan (promethazine). ...Read more
