Pharmacological studies on Zofran show that patients with moderate to severe hepatic impairment (liver) may have an extended half life of Zofran. In most patients over half the drug is gone in 5.7 hours. Older patients may take longer to clear Zofran as well. It really depends what side effects you are talking about as well.
