Took 6mg sumatriptan injection. How long to wait till I can take 8mg Zofran pill so the meds won't interact?
Whenever: to my knowledge those teo medications wont interact so you dont have to wait. also if you are needing triptans for headache then you may benefit from taking a med every day to prevent the headache. butterbur is an over the counter supplement that can prevent migraines. several safe meds are also effective. ...Read more
I take Zofran off for bouts of nausea but it takes too long to work, can Zofran for injection be prescribed or is it just for hospital use?

Based on pharmacologic references the effects of Zofran typically peak at end of IV infusion and typically peak around 30 mins for IM injection. Was just injected with 4ml of 8mg Zofran. A 25g needle was used. Injection site: thigh. I now have a numb lump at the injection site. Why is that?
Sumatriptan injections for cluster headaches, does that interact with Zofran? & does sumatriptan also have the ability to prevent nausea and vomiting?
No interaction: Wanted to clarify your questions as I seriously doubt you have cluster headaches, which occur in middle aged men, and is a very specific syndrome.
