Doubt it/check it ou: Spots are not specific for lupus, but people with lupus can have different rashes and not all people with lupus have hair loss or clinical symptoms.. This does not sound like lupus. You need dermatology to clarify these spots. ...Read more

Doubt it.: I doubt very much that either the black spots or the hair loss are due to rogaine -- but i'm not sure what you mean by "black spots". Are they little black dots, about the width of a hair shaft? If so, you could have a fungus infection. Is the hair loss uniform or patchy?
