Dry mouth: Older (tricylic) antidepressants used for depression and anxiety commonly cause dry mouth. But SSRI, MAOI type medications and most of the short-acting anti-anxiety medications are not known cause dry mouth/bad breath. Discuss alternate med with prescribing doctor.
