My husband had GERD several years ago with a dry cough that was diagnosis with Prilosec success. He has this again but not working. Prilosec + zantac (ranitidine)?Dosage?
Increase dose: If in fact the cough is caused by acid reflux coming up into the laryngeal area it may take using the Prilosec twice a day. Is it okay to take rolaids in between my morning and nightly dose of Zantac (ranitidine) during pregnancy? Just taking Zantac (ranitidine) alone doesn't seem to work.

If just indigestion, then antacids consumed 1 ; 3 hours after a meal and at bedtime may be helpful in the majority of patients, but may be too high a dose for a pregnant one.
