Z Pack Chlamydia
My gf and i both took 1g z-pack for chlamydia @ same time and had sex 5 days later. My dysuria returned, dr gave me doxycycline but said she is fine?
See answer: Though treating you with Doxycycline was not inappropriate , it certainly is possible that your dysuria was not related to recurrent or residual chlamydia. Test-of-cure (i.e., repeat testing 3–4 weeks after completing therapy) is not advised for persons treated with the recommended or alternative regimens, unless therapeutic compliance is in question, symptoms persist, or reinfection is suspected. ...Read more

What prostatitis infection after hand job with oil?
Chlamydia and gonorrhea neg.
doxy, cipro, (ciprofloxacin) z pack, no help. Flagyl helped little.
What do I do?
Doubt prostatitis: No STD or any infection that might cause prostatitis is possible from such contact. I'm guessing your symptoms are some combination of urinary urgency, bladder discomfort, and/or testicular or low abdominal pain. Most men with such symptoms have genitally focused anxiety--pain from pevlic muscle tension not prostate. That all the antibiotics didn't help is very strong evidence against infection. ...Read more

Possible: We usually recommend waiting 1-2 weeks before having unprotected sex after being treated for chlamydia.
