No age limit: Cosmetic rhinoplasty has no age limit. Certainly 38 yo is fine. I have performed functional rhinoplasty on healthy patients up in their 70's and early 80's. Rhinoplasty Recovery: For most patients rhinoplasty is about a one week recovery. They wear a splint on the outside of the nose for a week. I do not use packing on the inside of the nose, which was responsible for a lot of the swelling, bruising, and pain commonly associated with the procedure.
