Not really: It can be a cyst like sty which is less likely in your case as it is painful and there is a swelling of eye lid. It can be a chalzian cyst.

Not likely: If that is the only part of your skin that is yellowed, I would wonder if you had a bruise on your scalp/forehead area in the last 2 weeks that has allowed some late discoloration to reach your eyelids.
Are you using eye shadow that is a new product for you that may leave a discoloration after removal?

See an MD eyedoc: I have never read an observation like this. I can only guess that you have some fat prolapse through the insertion of tenons Capsule into the superior episcleral tissues. Pingueculum: If it is a small yellow spot, possibly raised, sometimes mobile (moveable), it's probably a pingueculum. This is degenerative tissue deposited in response to exposure to uv radiation (in most cases, sunlight). It is just like a "sunspot" on your skin, except its on the white of your eye.
