Yellow things?: What they are depends on whether they're moving or not. If moving, they could be head lice. If these are scabby places that are coming off when you scratch, it could be a form of seborrheic dermatitis. Your doctor can help you know. If you have red patches and thinning all in the same area then your doctor will likely need to do an exam with a wood's lamp and take samples such as scrapings of the skin and maybe a hair follicle to rule out fungal infections.
