Yellow things?: What they are depends on whether they're moving or not. If moving, they could be head lice. If these are scabby places that are coming off when you scratch, it could be a form of seborrheic dermatitis. Your doctor can help you know. May be fungal: This could be a "cradle cap" type of problem, could also be a fungal infection. A dandruff shampoo with a soft-bristled brush to help soften up the scale for washing off can help. My hair has been falling out loads, especially during winter, when they come out i see white /yellow stuff attached to the roots and scalp, what is it?
Many possibilities: Hair "turns over" faster than just about anything else in the body, and many things - from illness to injury to surgical procedures to hormonal imbalances to infections to stress - can interfere with the normal hair cycle.
