Yellow Mucus When I Fart
Recently I see yellow/brownish mucus in my stool often. I have 1-2 BM's/day. Not much strain/non completeness. Stool is mushy always. Not tarry. I'v seen very little bright blood in mucus in few occasions. No tendernss. Hvy fart. HB 14. Is this CA sym?

Took co amoxiclav 625 mg for 7 days for sinusitis. Still have symptoms but less like yellow mucus and cough. Should I let it heal itself or go back?
Sinusitis: Can be acute or chronic, it needs to be diagnosed right and treated appropriately so it won't recurr. I'm not sure of the dosage you received of the co amoxiclav, which is one of the indicated medicines for sinusitis, if the 625 mg dose, it should be 3 /day for 10-14 days in acute sinusitis, several more weeks if you have the chronic type. Could be trouble. CMD: Black, tarry looking stool can be a sign of bleeding in the gut (>3-4 ounces of blood-a lot), also seen w/iron pills, pepto bismol (bismuth subsalicylate). Yellow stools can be seen with a variety of issues, including pancreatic problems. Clay colored stools can be seen with blockage of bile ducts, less with certain antacids, barium from Xray tests.
