Yellow Jacket Sting Delayed Reaction
Stung by a yellow jacket on my eyebrow, no swelling redness or sting marks but pain 3+ hours later.no sign of allergic reaction. should i be worried?
Had reaction to yellowjackets or bumble bees as child. Nothing till today when had intense itchy bumps. Could I be allergic to insect sting?

Stung by a bee or hornet. 24 hours later it is very swollen, red and itchy. No breathing troubles. Used charcoal poultice, ice, onion slice, benadryl (diphenhydramine).

Yes, can happen: It isn't uncommon to still have some progression of swelling after 24 hours. Clean area with soap ; warm water. Apply ice (bag of frozen peas) in 10 min.
