Facial pain, fever up to 103 (fever has stopped), yellow watery nasal discharge, cough, greenish brown sputum. Sinus infection and/or bronchitis?
Possibly: Or you may be getting over a cold. As a cold improves the nasal secretions get thicker and a little yellow. If you are coughing up thick brown sputum with a deep cough i would be more concerned about a bacterial pneumonia or possibly bronchitis. Likley colitis: you may have a simple infectious colitis. if you have more abdominal pain or nause or vomitting, then you may need antibiotics. otherwise plenty of fluids and symptomatic treatment is enough. if you notice blood in stools , then you will need a medical evaluation for crohns colitis/ IBD ...Read more
Not rare: Any secretions will color within hours due to normal bacteria living on the nasal membranes. Baby needs a good clean out with nasal saline and suction. Possibilities...: If this is a change in your sputum color, it may be indicative of infection like acute bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infection with post-nasal drip. URI: This sounds like an acute viral URI (common cold) possibly complicated by bronchitis, but without seeing you and examining you it is really very difficult to predict.
