Vaginitis: Vaginal discharge needs to be evaluated to determine the cause. Watery discharge which is worse after a period sounds like bacterial vaginosis. This is an overgrowth of vaginal bacteria. Other causes like yeast, trichomoniasis as well as other infections are other possibilities. Unlikely this is related to your C-section 12 weeks ago. This should be easy for your doc to figure out in the office. ...Read more

6 weeks after c-section im having yellow discharge, its not smelly. Is this normal?

6 weeks after c-section im having yellow discharge, its not smelly. Is this normal?

Yes: The amount and type of discharge from the uterus following delivery is always surprising. I know I was surprised as well. It's normal to have unusual looking discharge for up to 6-8 weeks following the delivery. Yellow is also normal. So long as no itching, then likely no yeast infection. Good that not smelly, though common after delivery to have foul smell. ...Read more

Vaginal: Vaginal discharge can vary depending on where you are in your cycle. If you have vaginal odor, pain, or irritation, then you may be dealing with an infectious process (bacteria or yeast). If any of these signs are present please consult your doctor.

Egg white vaginal discharge yellow in colour after c section?

Egg white vaginal discharge yellow in colour after c section?

Usually normal: I should preface this answer by stating that I am not an ob/gyn specialist and specific concerns should be directed towards your ob/gyn. Okay, with that out of way, most vaginal discharge is normal. "red flags" for abnormal discharge include foul smell and discharge accompanied by fever and/or uterine pain. Also, your incision should be dry and not oozing pus or surrounded by warm, red skin. ...Read more

Upper stomach is pulsating. 12 weeks postpartum, had a C-section what could it be?

Your Aorta: Any time a doc hears about a "pulsating" area in the abdomen, the Abdominal Aorta should come to mind, as that is often palpable and can at times be seen as a pulsatile area through the abdomen (which is a normal variant often). Get eval to be sure that is all it is. Best wishes. ...Read more

Can full placenta previa actually resolve itself if diagnosed at around 12 weeks? It'd my 2nd preg& I am scheduled for c-section anyway.

Can full placenta previa actually resolve itself if diagnosed at around 12 weeks? It'd my 2nd preg& I am scheduled for c-section anyway.

Yes, >90% of time.: I don't even look at the placenta before 14-16 weeks because it is frequently previa without any significance clinically. If it covers the internal cervical os and overlaps by at least 2.5 cm in all directions (one inch) at the anatomy scan (18-22 weeks), then it shall persist as previa at delivery with 99% certainty. If it is >2 cm away from the os at term vaginal delivery is feasible 63% of time. ...Read more
