Probably normal: Many newborns have difficulty retaining milk due to a poorly functioning sphincter muscle where the esophagus and stomach meet. The stomach normally has mucus and the sour smell comes from the acid and digestive juices in the stomach. More info: Seedy stools are typical of breast fed babies. Are you breastfeeding? Yellow in the eyes is also known as jaundice and can occur in breast fed babies, but is not typical for this age. Hello. : Hello. I canâ€™t diagnose the reason for your orange colored stool. Passing orange feces may mean the stool either isnâ€™t absorbing or isnâ€™t coming in contact with enough bile salt. This can happen if the stool is transiting too quickly through the colon. As a result of moving so rapidly, fluid is not be adequately reabsorbed through the colon which results in liquid feces. Sometimes the problem can be that bile isnâ€™t getting through the bile ducts (i.e., like gallstones). Diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome, gallstones & inflammation of the bile ducts are just a few possible reasons for orange stool. If you have been ingesting a lot of antacids that contain aluminum, that can also cause orange stools. Suggest you consult with your doctor on this one. ...Read more

That is possible : stools expected to change w/formula change until your baby's intestine adjusts to new formula. Greenish yellow seedy stools are a normal stool color for babies. There are many. Is the baby excessively fussy /gassy. If not, give it a bit longer to see how your baby is adjusting.
