Yaz No Period
First time taking yaz, can period does not come? And if yes, how many days you have to wait to take pregnant test?
Yes: Sometimes, women will miss periods on birth control pills, but not regularly. Take a pregnancy test when you get to the end of the pack if you missed a few pills, and, even if you didn't. If negative and you're still worried, wait 5-7 days and take another test. If not pregnant by then, it's unlikely. Make sure to continue the pills however, as they won't harm a pregnancy. ...Read more
Missed pills?: Bleeding usually occurs when the hormonal levels drop. Theoretically, if you take the pills at the same time everyday and never miss a pill, your hormone levels should stay the same and so you should not bleed. But in reality, there is a standard distribution of people in the population for whom 'normal' does not apply and there is variability. ...Read more

I decided to switch to Yaz pills, but this month my menstrual already end last friday is it okay to take a Yaz after my period?
Yes: It sounds like you're under the impression that you need to start the yaz during your period, but you do not. It is a common side effect and does not mean something is wrong or that the pill is not working. ...Read more
Last period 5/11. Neg test 6/28. Took Yaz 5/20, 21, 22 but then stopped. Could still I be pregnant or could the Yaz cause no period even until now?
I'm on the pill (yaz) and my period (the white pills) is due when my boyfriend is visiting. Is it safe and will it work if I skip a period?
It's ok!: If you have the 28 day pill package, discard the 7 placebo pills and start a new package Day 1 and continue the entire month. Some brands of pills come with the intent of one period every 3 months, but I do not recommend doing this consistently with Yaz, as this BCP contains a progestin that has been linked with a slightly higher risk of blood clots, so the 7 day break is better. Also, be safe! ...Read more
Started Yaz before my period started and I started having normal heavy periods 2 days before placebo tablets. What's up with that?
Overweight. Pcos. Started yaz. Got first period. Still cramping and brown spotting a week later. Missed a pill. Not pregnant. Sex burns, hurts?
