No, it won't : However if in doubt that any drug would interfere with birth control effectiveness of the pills you are on, use an extra method like a barrier while using the other medication. No: Solodyn (minocycline http://www.drugs.com/solodyn.html) will not decrease effectiveness of any hormonal birth control (although you still need to take every 24hrs as directed). With that said, it's still a good idea to make him wrap it up each & every time. May reduce effect : The effectiveness of Beyaz (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol and levomefolate) may be decreased by solodyn oral in some patients thus resulting in breakthrough bleeding/pregnancy may occur. In this patients it is advisable to use extra or an alternate form of birth control. Report any irregular bleeding to your doctor. NO: Ocella (drospirenone and ethinyl estradiol) is a birth control pill which helps acne. Vitex is of no value ; is sold with false claims to take advantage of people: it will do nothing for acne ; it will not prevent pregnancy. The usual dose of spironolactone for acne is 50- 100 mg, sometimes 200mg. You will see improvement after 3 menst periods. Hair loss might improve with larger dose of spironolactone. Why are you starting birth control pills? how long do you plan to be on the antibiotics? How old are you? I'm assuming you are female but you didn't even provide us with that information.
