Most are safe: From the time when babies are sitting to when they walk is a marvelous opportunity to introduce many flavors of foods (www.Drgreene.Com/colorin). Kids with g6pd deficiency should avoid fava beans. Some kids - depending on their variant - should also avoid blueberries (& yogurts containing them), soy, other legumes, some chinese herbs, or tonic water (not great for babies anyway). I love g6pd.Org. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Baby girl born today via csectn. Placenta looked unhealthy but baby in overall good health. What should be worried about? Baby OK?
My 5month old baby having Hb 9.2gm%,dr gave ferrilite drops,is baby fine, when will his Hb comes normal, having only breast feed?

Breastfeeding is far and away the best source of nutrition for a baby. Any formula is far inferior. ...Read more

Whooping Cough: I am sorry to hear that your friend's child is ill. There are good vaccinations to prevent this kind of illness in both children and adults now. There is also no guarantee that your granny will get ill. Exposure to illness in no way predicts infection. But, if granny does become seriously ill her physician should know that she was exposed to pertussis, the bug that causes whooping cough. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
