Normal: Zyzal is the new zyrtec, that dose is standard. It can cause mucosal drying and some difficulty urinating in persons with enlarged prostate. Dog allergy: It is not uncommon for the effect of anti-histamines such as xyzal (levocetirizine) to reduce a bit if you have taken it for a while. You can switch to another such Claritin or alavert (loratadine) or Allegra (fexofenadine), and see how they do.
