31 y/o ttc for 1year. Seen ob/gyn & fertility md, all labs & anatomy wnl except cervix stenosed & l fallopian tube removed. Is Clomid (clomiphene) next step?
Urine analysis, chest x-ray, ultrasound are normal, ultrasound showed epididymal cyst. No antibiotics have worked.Could this be tuberculous epididmitis?
TB epididymitis: Epididymal infection due to tuberculosis is very rare, although the epididymis is the second most common site in the genitourinary system to be infected with tb. Unless you know you have had a significant TB exposure, this diagnosis seems unlikely. Benign epididymal cysts, on the other hand, are quite common and nothing to worry about unless they are hurting or enlarging. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I've a 6.4 cyst on left ovary, no pain, no symptoms, seeing specialist again next week for results of CT scan... I'm 39 - will this hamper fertility?
Maybe: The main reason to perform a hysterosalpingogram (hsg) is to identify possible sources of infertility. Contrast dye is placed inside the uterine cavity and should fill the fallopian tubes and leak into the pelvis. This test can identify a blocked tube or find developmental problems with the uterus. Occasionally, the dye can open a blocked tube, in which case it could enhance fertility. ...Read more

My husbands semen analysis revealed a 5% motility but 25 million sperm volume. Can IUI work for us? I have no female fertility problems.
A recent HSG test revealed that 1 tube was blocked. I have endometriosis. Would Clomid (clomiphene) be helpful to achieve pregnancy. I'm 28 with no kids & 2ectopic?
Time for consult: With ectopic or two and blocked tube or tubes, you need to see a fertility specialist to define your options. You may need to bypass bad tubes and do IVF to achieve pregnancy. They can stimulate your ovaries, harvest eggs, fertilize them with dads sperm & plant embryos into your uterus directly.Clomid might stimulate egg production but if there is nowhere safe they can go it won't help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is laprocopy surgery necessary for arcutate uterus shown by HSG .
Tubes normal and Ultrasound shows normal uterus with PCOD. Age: 25 years and married?
No.: No. An arcuate uterus has a slight midline septum with a broad fundal cavity indentation. There is a risk of miscarriage is greater with longer septa. Pregnancy outcomes are usually good. If treatment is necessary, hysteroscopic resection is usually the treatment. I would suggest that if you are having recurrent miscarriages. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My prolactin level's 749, fsh-5.7, lh-5.4, estradiol-34, trying to conceive but no results.3misscariages and 1extrauterine pregnancy.What's the problem?
Double check: Are you saying your prolactin level is 749 or is this a decimal-point error? Also is that in units of micrograms/liter? If both these things are true your prolactin level is around 50 times higher than normal. If both these things are correct you need to see an endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist immediately! if this is an error, then sorry for the alarm. ...Read more
How does a couples get an official diagnosis of unexplained infertility? Been off birth control since 07/2010..Done hsg, ultrsounds, semen analysis
Hsg- bilateral tubal opacity with no spillage; uterine cavity normal. How can I conceive? Does inj. Palcenterex help? Success rate of tuboplasty/ivf
IVF: If both of your tubes are blocked the only fertility treatment that works is ivf. Success rate of ivf is high if you are young and if the only fertility issue that you have is the blocks tubes. Repairing your tubes is not recommended: it has a high failure rate as well as a very high risk of ectopic pregnancy. Injection will not help. Good luck.. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
