In the us this means it is not an official recognized treatment associated with the drug xiaflex. A literature search will not reveal any significant clinical study published study in peer reviewed literature. One must be careful not to take a patient's stated positive experience if they have had this as the results may be very dependent upon many factors including clinical stage, health and of course subjective interpretation of what a good result is.
