No problem: I've given Botox to about 7, 000 headache patients and many were on Aspirin or prescription blood thinners and I have not seen any increase in bleeding or bruising. It is important to make sure that the doctor uses a 30-gauge needle (or thinner) and is experienced in this procedure. ...Read more

Botox injection in rectum and on medication called Suboxone which they want me tapper this medication and take the pain medication does it hurt after?

Yes, it does: Buprenorphine will block the pain-relieving effects of other opioid drugs (like morphine, oxycodone etc.) and if your doctors anticipate that you are going to have moderate to severe pain, the recommendation is to stop the Suboxone 2-3 days before, so that their pain medicines will work. Talk to your Suboxone prescriber about coordinating care with the people treating your anal problems. ...Read more

Not true exactly: Prednisolone is not a common migraine treatment protocol. Often times there's also a underlying dietary, or food allergy source to migraine that can be exacerbating or causing continuous, chronic issues, along with stress. So it would be good to have a food allergy panel done with complement testing to rule out this possibility. Then look at other possible triggers. You don't want to be on chronic steroid treatment. ...Read more
