Go to the ER: The effect of xanax (alprazolam) goes away quickly; it is only in you for a few hours. Vomiting and difficulty walking is at least a sign of dehydration, but can also be a sign of more serious things. See doc...: First, make sure that her home environment is safe....And install temporary locks high up so she cannot reach etc...Of course to use at night while she is asleep.
If there is a strong family history of this, she may get better later on. In the meantime, get her evaluated to make sure all is ok.
