Wear and tear: "Degenerative changes" means that the shoulder joint shows evidence of what you might call "wear and tear." Could be due to arthritis (osteoarthritis), overuse, prior injury, etc. It also means there is no quick fix for the shoulder pain. MRI will not : Solve your discomfort on your shoulder and collarbone. You may just have strained or pulled a muscle when you started exercising. Physical therapy , warm compresses and anti-inflammatory medications may help. Take it easy with your exercise. See your doctor if symptoms are getting worst ...Read more

Cerv Radiculopathy: Pain here is likely a pinched nerve from arthritic pressure and/or a herniated disc, or tendinitis (levator syndrome). Aggravated by poor posture at a computer. An exam by your doc can help determine if there is significant injury deserving of further studies or treatment. No hurry if not worsening, but, should be seen if not getting better.
