Left wrist weakness with no tingling/numbness. Pain/discomfort when wrist is rubbed at base of the thumb and when bent. Emg, X-ray and MRI are normal.

Still can be nerves: Even a mild case of carpal tunnel can be bothersome and sometimes elude emg. Also may be nothing. Your radial sensory nerve is right at the location you describe and sits right on top of that bone. Truth is, I have the same problem as you. It's like hitting your funny bone. ...Read more
