Mass of tssue that does not belong n the place that it is. In the hand or in any other part of the body a tumor is caused by an abnormal bit if tissue growing where it does not belong. A ganglion is the most common soft tissue tumorof the hand. Other common benign tumors are giant cell tumor of tendon sheath.

Maybe: It is difficult to say without seeing what they look like, how many there are, and if you have other lesions elsewhere. Need more history: Sounds like this headache is worrying to you. Your brief description has some features that point toward and away from such diagnoses as migraine and hemicrania continua. Tumors are more likely to cause seizures and focal neurological symptoms than headaches, and when tumors do cause headaches, the headache often worsens with lying down.
