Likely contusion: It sounds like you may have bruised the underlying tissue of the wrist. This should get better with time. For now I would avoid doing whatever aggravates the pain, take some over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medicine, If you don't have any reason that you're not supposed to, and give it another week.
