Yes, get a hand exam: New activities can put stress on ligaments or muscles that you have not used before, resulting in stiffness, pain and changes in strength. Bowling, a strenuous activity on the wrist is classic. Oral anti-inflammatories might help, along with modifying your activity. Hard to say: Need more info...INJURY????? You may have a GANGLION CYST which is a common wrist condition and early on (before you can "see it") may hurt when you put pressure on your wrist!

In any case you need to see an ORTHOPEDIC or HAND Specialist however your PCP may want to order an MRI first.....check it out!
