4mnths ago my wrist hurt to bend both directions, I used a brace & it went away, now its back, what could it b, I'm 22?
Tendon/lig/bone, etc: This could be anything from a tendon to a ligament to a bone fracture. It seems to be more like a tendon or ligament issue because it improved with the brace. Itchy have been aggravated by a sharp, abrupt pull and likely needs the brace again, but it's smart to get it examined by your doctor to be sure it's this and ghat it isn't something else. Trauma? Repetitive stress?, carpal tunnel is usually in the palm side and affects the thumb index finger, middle finger, Ulnar n. affects pinky. Ulnar w/ elbow or thoracic outlet syndrome (clavicle area), or cervical spine (C8-T1), or ganglion cyst depending on your activities. Rarely could be arthritis F/U with orthopedist.
