Probably not all: Probably not all of those symptoms are related to an umbilical hernia. Most umbilical hernias are small and do not cause that much discomfort, naseua, fatigue, weight loss, etc. If it is really large, it can start having some of those symptoms. Eosinophilic ?: Food impaction in the esophagus can result when there is a fixed narrowing (e.g. Congenital web, ring, peptic stricture, radiation damage, surgical anastomotic narrowing), inflammation, dysmotility (disordered peristalsis or sphincter problem, achalasia). In younger patients, infiltration of the gut lining by eosinophils can cause both dysphagia (food sticking) and diarrhea. Was this checked? ...Read more

Nonspecific: Abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea are fairly nonspecific symptoms. They could be due to a variety of GI problems, most of which however are probably functional. While a hiatal hernia isn't anatomic problem that can cause some functional problems, this is usually related to difficulty eating, chest pain, anemia, or reflux symptoms.
