Cough on off few days. Today my chest hurt, I tried working out and it was very hard to breathe and there was pain and BPM fast. Pulled muscle? ?
My chest on the left side hurts when i cough i was coughing really hard and on the left side i heard a loud pop. Rite at the rib cage. I can breath. But if itry to cough it hurts really bad just woundering could it be a pulled muscle or something

Modify activities: Is it work related? If so, can your work be modified to prevent further stress/injury to that area? If it's not work related, try to think of the activity which may be causing it, and try to modify/avoid that. Musculoskeletal pain: If pain provoked by twisting, could be just musculoskeletal pain. Press on the area of pain. If pressing reproduces the pain, that could be it. Should respond to Motrin or Naprosyn (naproxen) available over the counter. Acid reflux responds to Tums and is usually related to food intake and obesity.
