Modify activities: Is it work related? If so, can your work be modified to prevent further stress/injury to that area? If it's not work related, try to think of the activity which may be causing it, and try to modify/avoid that. Should respond to Motrin or Naprosyn (naproxen) available over the counter. Acid reflux responds to Tums and is usually related to food intake and obesity.
