I have chronic pancreatitis due to pancreatic divisum. Now blood in urine. No infections ot kidney stones. A lot of pain. Ct blood normal. CP culprit?

Probable CP: Pancreatic divisum is failure of the dorsal and ventral ducts of the early developing pancreas to fuse into a major duct system. Pain when no defined kidney stones would have to be related to common association of pancreatic divisum and pancreatitis. ...Read more

My sister has probable endometriosis, chronic sinus congestion, tonsil stones, atrophy in one eye, now blood and protein in urine. What could be the cause?

My sister has probable endometriosis, chronic sinus congestion, tonsil stones, atrophy in one eye, now blood and protein in urine. What could be the cause?

Unrelated: Don't look for a single cause. Endometriosis is extremely common, as are sinus troubles. A person can learn to remove their own tonsilloliths. Blood and protein in the urine in a woman are often contaminants but a cause should be sought. It's a waste of time to try to connect these. I'm glad you care for her and trust these concerns can all be addressed. Best wishes. ...Read more

If chronic gastritis can lead to metaplasia of the stomach into intestinal membrane, could it draw water and cause constip. undetect. by colonoscopy?

No: The intestinal metaplasia is a trivial finding and won't have the slightest impact compared with the enormous amount of real intestine you already have. Further, water absorption in the gut is passive. Most diagnosed "chronic gastritis" non-biopsy-proved is functional and unassociated with metaplasia in the first place. Look for some other cause of your constipation; consider diet / drinking h2o ...Read more
