Where to begin?: Symptoms of? Gallstones causing symptoms really are best treated by surgical removal of the gallbladder. No matter what you do- over time the symptoms will worsen. Symptoms from diverticuli usually means inflammation and once these show up more than once, you are eventually going to need surgical care.
