Doubtful: Diverticulitis is possible, but unlikely if the symptoms have been there more than a week or so. Also unlikely the sling is related, unless the pain is only in the pelvic area. Not sure what you mean by IRS, but the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is capable inflicting many aches and pains. It could be irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
