Knee instability: If buckling of the knee is the only symptom your having with or even without pain, it's not a common symptom of rheumatoid arthritis. Buckling is usually a result of some kind of internal derangement in the knee like a meniscus tear or acl tear. I think if this is the only joint you're having problems with, the diagnosis of RA is highly unlikely, especially if it's just buckling or giving way. ...Read more
