I'm at a loss of words, any suggestions?

Develop Scripts: One way to deal with "not knowing what to say" is to develop templates or scripts. Another thing you can do is create 5 to 7 questions you will ask another person when you meet, such as, "where did you grow up? " or "what do you do in your spare time"? What is the meaning of the word spasticity?

What is the meaning of the word spasticity?

Velocity dependent: While spasticity has taken on many colloquial meanings, the true meaning is that of a velocity dependent resistance to stretch. A spastic muscle may be able to be stretched slowly, but when the velocity is increased, the stretch causes a reflexive contraction within the muscle to antagonize the stretch. It is very commonly seen in upper motor neuron related diseases (stroke, cp, etc).

When do babies start connecting words to objects?

When do babies start connecting words to objects?

< 1 years: Infants begin to associate words with objects within the first months of life. The more the parents speak to their baby, the more language the baby will acquire. Most babies know who 'mama' is long before they can say the word. Receptive language can be enhanced by talking with your baby. Describe everthing that you say and do with your child and his receptive language will quickly grow.
